About the project
Objectives
- Develop an IKIGAI educational methodology to develop the skills of older adults in digital transition, digital healthcare
(eHealth) and citizenship. - Empower the older adult with few digital skills supporting resilience and engagement in the digital transition through digital
healthcare (eHealth) autonomy, fostering the citizenship relevance for intervention in public policies.
Activities
- Promote a network of European ambassadors
- Implement an e-learning training program in digital transition, healthcare and European citizenship, which can be scaled
later. - Develop scalable multicultural and democratic contexts for the active participation of older people and support older
people in the digital transition, healthcare and citizenship. - Develop SMARTageCARE Educational Toolkit for older adults and their caregivers.
Results
- Large-scale deployment, piloting and adoption of the SMARTageCARE Educational Toolkit (Ecosystem, Handbook,
Digital Platform) across Europe, taking into account the accessibility, ethical principles and data protection (GDPR) - SMARTageCARE dissemination and exploitation plan
- Identity of the SMARTageCARE Action and create and manage the project’s website and online social media
- Disseminate and communicate SMARTageCARE recommendations for transferability to all relevant stakeholders
Impact
- Involving local, national communities, networks and advocacy networks.
- Public availability of free educational and digital components.
- Integration of the Ambassador network, the Advisory Council and the Sustainability Strategy.
- Adaptation of the toolbox to the needs of the local environment.
- Improving the knowledge and skills of staff in partner organisations in the project areas and beyond, and strengthening the close network of participating organisations.
