SOCIAL ACTIVATION+
MAK – MOTIVATED IN ACTION
Izobraževalni center Geoss d.o.o. was selected in the public call for co-financing projects under Social Activation+ with the project “MAK – Motivated into Action”. The project aims to improve social inclusion and increase employment opportunities for unemployed individuals. Within the project, five six-month programs will be carried out, offering participants free activities to strengthen their social, functional, and work-related competences.

PROJECT PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES:
The project promotes social inclusion of individuals from target groups and reduces the risk of poverty by developing their social skills and competences. This simultaneously increases their employability and facilitates their transition to the labor market. The program enables participants to develop or upgrade their social, functional, and work-related competences, thereby enhancing their chances for successful integration into the work environment.
PROJECT RESULTS:
During the project period, Izobraževalni center Geoss will implement five six-month programs with the goal of including 60 unemployed individuals from the Zasavje region.

The public call is co-financed by the Ministry of Labour, Family, Social Affairs and Equal Opportunities and the European Union, specifically from the European Social Fund Plus (ESF+). The projects are co-financed under the Programme for the Implementation of the European Cohesion Policy 2021–2027, Policy Objective 4 “A more social and inclusive Europe for the implementation of the European Pillar of Social Rights”, Priority 7 “Long-term care and health and social inclusion”, and Specific Objective ESO4.8 “Promoting active inclusion to foster equal opportunities, non-discrimination and active participation, and to improve employability, especially for disadvantaged groups (ESF+)”.
