Impact

  • Increased attractiveness and resilience of VET systems in small communities in decentralized areas with special reference to young learners, also for preventing emigration and brain drain.
  • Growth of new innovators in small communities who can develop sustainable and innovative solutions to face the challenges of these communities (isolation, lack of services, mobility, emigration, depopulation, ageing, lack of opportunities for young people).
  • Learned, implemented and replicated new methodology by trainers, tailored on the needs of young learners in small communities.
  • Boosted national debates on training opportunities for VET trainers and learners in decentralized communities.
  • Contribution to achieving the objectives of European Skills Agenda, in particular to increase participation of adults in learning activities.
  • Raised awareness of key stakeholders at European level on new frameworks like the New European Bauhaus and the new European Skills Agenda.
