KORAK – Basic Competences 2023-2029

Educational Center Geoss is a consortium partner in the KORAK project (Basic Competences 2023–2029), led by the managing consortium partner Public Institution CENE ŠTUPAR – Center for Education Ljubljana. Within the project, we will provide free education for adults until 2029.

Project Description:

The consortium consists of:

Project duration: 13. 10. 2023–30. 6. 2029

Purpose and Goal of the Project:
The purpose of the project is to increase adult participation in lifelong learning and to improve competences needed due to labor market demands, greater employability and mobility, and personal development. The goal is to acquire and improve basic competences and general education of adults.

Project Results:
Educational Center Geoss will implement 68 programs, involving 804 participants. Within the consortium, we will carry out 51 publicly recognized programs, 6 of which will be implemented by IC Geoss, involving 60 participants.

Target Group:
Adults in accordance with the Adult Education Act. At least 60% of first-time participants will belong to one of the following vulnerable groups:

  • Lower educated (ISCED 3 or less)
  • Active individuals aged 55 or older
  • Foreigners
  • Inmates in correctional institutions

Total Project Value: €2,240,509.54
EU Co-financing: €896,203.82

For IC Geoss: €334,480.00, EU Co-financing: €133,792.00
