Be inclusive! – How inclusion of people with disabilities works in SMEs – learning resources for job placement and employment

About the project

The Be inclusive! project is developing micro-learning products and further information materials and provides in-depth learning possibilities for job placement trainers that can be used or implemented to motivate potential SME-employers to employ people with disabilities.

Objectives

  • Motivation and awareness raising to employ and train people with disabilities.
  • Providing basic information on the topic.
  • Integrate people with disabilities better and more sustainably into work processes.
  • Improving the placement success of people with disabilities.
  • Development and use of digital, innovative learning material / exchange of experiences and examples of practice from different areas and countries.

Activities

  • Research of best practice examples and national contexts.
  • Production of the brochure »People with disabilities in the labour market: placement, inclusion and sustainable empolyment in SMEs« in all partner languages.
  • Production of 8 learning videos for microlearning in all partner languages.
  • Development of complementary material to the learning videos: factsheets, checklist and PowerPoint slides.
  • Quality and dissemination of project results.

Results

  • Brochure “People with disabilities in the labour market: placement, inclusion and sustainable employment in SMEs” to foster SMEs’ motivation to employ people with disabilities.
  • Modular-designed learning videos (Microlearning) for SMEs to support the integration process of people with disabilities.
  • Complementary material to the Learning Videos offering further learning possibilities for in-depth self-study and for use in practice.

Impact

  • Enhanced motivation and awareness of SMEs to employ and train people with disabilities.
  • Improved integration of people with disabilities into work processes.
  • Improved placement success of people with disabilities in SMEs.
  • Developed digital innovative learning material and exchanged experiences and best. practice examples from different areas and countries.
